1. Acceptance of the conditions of participation
Contests on the Lukas Podolski Foundation Facebook page are held by the Lukas Podolski Foundation. By participating, the participant agrees explicitly and bindingly to the following terms and conditions. The contest has no connection to Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook.The recipient of the data and information provided by participants is not Facebook, but the Lukas Podolski Foundation.

Participation in the contest is subject to the following terms and conditions. The Lukas Podolski Foundation reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contest at any time.
2. Eligibility
Eligible persons must be residents of Germany, be at least 18 years of age at the time of participation and be a ‘Fan’ on the Lukas Podolski Foundation Facebook page. To be a fan, you must select the ‘Like’ button on the Lukas Podolski Foundation Facebook page. Employees, staff and consultants of the Lukas Podolski Foundation are not eligible to participate. Additionally, affiliates (Section 15 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG)) of the Lukas Podolski Foundation and their first and second-degree relatives and cohabitating partners, as well as all persons who are or were involved with implementing the campaign, are not eligible to participate. By participating in the contest, you consent to your first name being posted on the Lukas Podolski Foundation Facebook page if you win.
Participatory posts must not contain any insults, false facts or competition, trademark, or copyright infringements.
3. Participation and winner selection
To enter the contest, you must post a comment on the Lukas Podolski Foundation page. The user whose comment receives the most ‘Likes’ by the end of the contest wins and is notified by the Lukas Podolski Foundation.
4. Participation disclaimer
Should participants violate these terms or be suspected of manipulation, the Lukas Podolski Foundation has the right to exclude them from participation or winning. This includes, in particular, attempts to influence the participation process, for example by disrupting the process flow or harassing or threatening employees or other participants.If the conditions for excluding a participant exist, the Lukas Podolski Foundation is also entitled to re-claim any prizes already provided. The Lukas Podolski Foundation reserves the right to exclude other participants from joining an event. The Lukas Podolski Foundation will especially make use of this right regarding participants who sustainably disrupt the contest process, harass or hassle other participants or express illegal or immoral sentiments. In such cases, the prize will not be granted or paid out, regardless of whether the participant has won according to the conditions outlined above.
5. Liability
The Lukas Podolski Foundation continually strives to make correct statements on its Facebook page and in contest posts. However, the Lukas Podolski Foundation is not liable for misstatements (e.g. erroneous statements about the prize) or technically-induced errors relating to the selection of the winner. It should be noted that Facebook is not involved in the contest and is not liable for any of its content.
6. Provision of prizes
All prizes are in the form of material prizes. The scope of the prize will be indicated in the contest announcement or post on the Facebook page. There are no cash prizes and no conversion or similar of the prize is possible. The prize will only be awarded by the Lukas Podolski Foundation to persons who comply with all the conditions of participation. Multiple entries are prohibited. Material prizes are not payable in cash and cannot be exchanged. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties. Should a winner not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner will be chosen.
7. Legal process
Legal action is excluded in regards to the operation of the contest, the selection of the winner and the awarding of prizes.
8. Data protection
If, within the context of the contest, participants’ personal data are collected, processed and used by the Lukas Podolski Foundation, they are solely collected, processed and used for the purpose of conducting the contest and destroyed upon its completion.
